Busan Daeji Gukbap Korean Restaurant Reviews
Based on the food, it's a 5 stars for us. We loved the dishes we get today. Stired fried is big and well seasoned. Fried chicken is the most juicy and delicious chicken I have ever had so far. Really want to come back to try other items in the future. Only down side is their furniture is quite old feel, but we dont really mind since the food is excellent.
I have to be honest and say that I'm not a big fan of Korean cuisine, but we came to this place twice in two weeks and everyone really enjoyed the food. Especially the cheesy fried chicken, which my kids were begging to come back and eat again. The best part was that it was very affordable - we only spent an average of 15 dollars per person and we could hardly finish all of the food. Additionally, parking was very convenient with plenty of spots available.
I came in with my son, we passed at least 4 restaurants before settling here, it is amazing. A1! We ordered the fried boneless chicken, they give a sweet and sour sauce with it and it is to die for. They also accommodated my son with complimentary snacks while he had to wait. The service is spectacular. We had the sweetest waitress, she has been so kind to my son as well. Family restaurant, date restaurant, casual, business meeting, this place is suitable for most occasions. Highly recommend. !! So happy I live close by, will be coming back 10/10
Been here like 20 or 30 times...like the food, like the staff, like the atmosphere, and price, too! Not a very fancy place, but a very warm, chill, and relaxing restaurant that you want to come everyday after a long-day work! Highly recommend:)
We ordered the pork bone soup hot pot and it’s no disappointment!!! Very thick broth and very tasty would recommend to everyone! The place is slightly old and the server seemed to be very busy but I’m okay with it as long as the food is good!
I visited this place at 7pm!! I ate Gobchang Cattle Chitterig Hot Pot and Makchang Soondae. Those food taste are really yummy and delicious. I enjoyed to spend the time with my friends!! Also, drinking this restaurant home made Makgeolli with the food was really good combination!!
Really enjoyed the food here. The special pork bone soup is one of the top 2 I had in greater vancouver. The portion was generous. 3 of us spent a total of 120 before tax, and we don't need to cook tomorrow :)
First time trying their daeji gukbap and I was not disappointed at all!! The meat was so soft that it melts in your mouth, broth was flavourful (I suggest spicy broth). You get noodles and rice to put in the soup. Side dishes were generous and my favourite thing was the salty shrimp you can add on the broth. The place feels very authentic and nostalgic. Highly recommended!
